Where is your eyewear designed?
Every Past Midnight frame is designed in-house in Miami by our founders, Carolina & Lauren. From silhouette and fit to color selection and finishing details, each style is thoughtfully developed through several months of sampling to ensure it meets our standards for quality, comfort, and timeless design.
Where is your eyewear made?
Past Midnight eyewear is crafted by highly vetted manufacturing partners in China and Vietnam who specialize in premium eyewear production. We work with the same world-class facilities trusted by leading luxury houses and have carefully selected our partners for their expertise, craftsmanship, ethical manufacturing practices, and commitment to quality. We source our materials from premier suppliers in Italy and China, including Mazzucchelli acetate, widely regarded as the gold standard in luxury eyewear.
How are your frames made?
Every Past Midnight frame begins as an original design developed in-house by our founders. We do not work from pre-existing frame templates. Each style starts with detailed technical drawings and is refined through an extensive sampling process, with careful attention paid to fit, proportions, color, and finishing details. Multiple rounds of development and revisions ensure every frame looks, feels, and fits exactly as intended before it reaches production.
What materials are used in your eyewear?
Our frames are crafted from premium cellulose acetate sourced from the same world-renowned suppliers trusted by many of the industry's leading luxury houses. Unlike standard plastics, acetate is lightweight, durable, and designed to age beautifully over time. Our metal styles are constructed from high-quality stainless steel, chosen for its strength, comfort, and lasting durability. All Past Midnight lenses are crafted from premium CR-39, materials known for their exceptional optical clarity, lightweight feel, and everyday durability. Every pair offers 100% UVA/UVB protection and is designed to deliver a clear, comfortable viewing experience from day to night.
Is your eyewear unisex?
Yes. All Past Midnight eyewear is designed to be worn by anyone.
What are your sustainability efforts?
We believe thoughtful production is better than overproduction. Past Midnight is not fast fashion. We are a small team who operates with a small-batch mindset, producing intentionally to reduce excess waste while ensuring every collection feels considered, special, and purposefully made. We are committed to transparency throughout our supply chain and work closely with highly vetted manufacturing partners and material suppliers in Italy and China who share our standards for ethical production and exceptional craftsmanship.
Why are your production runs limited?
We intentionally keep our production runs small to maintain the level of quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship that defines Past Midnight. Producing in limited quantities allows us to be hands-on throughout the development process and ensure every style feels exclusive and thoughtfully made.
Why do some styles sell out?
Many Past Midnight styles are produced in limited quantities. Once a style sells through, it may not be restocked or may return in limited numbers during a future production run. When possible, we open pre-orders on select styles, allowing customers to reserve a pair in advance of an upcoming production run.
What comes with my purchase?
Every pair of Past Midnight eyewear arrives with a premium protective case and microfiber cleaning cloth, thoughtfully designed to help protect and care for your frames.

How do I know if a frame will fit me?
Detailed measurements can be found on each product page to help you find your ideal fit. If you already own a pair of sunglasses you love, we recommend comparing those measurements to the dimensions listed on our website. If you have any questions, our team is always happy to help guide you toward the right frame.
Can my frames be adjusted?
Yes. Many Past Midnight frames can be adjusted for a more personalized fit. For guidance on caring for and adjusting your eyewear, please refer to our Care Guide.
What are your frames made from?
Our frames are crafted using premium materials selected for their quality, comfort, and durability. Depending on the style, this includes Mazzucchelli acetate from Italy, high-quality stainless steel components, and premium CR-39 lenses. Our lenses provide 100% UVA/UVB protection and feature a scratch-resistant coating for enhanced durability and optical clarity. Every material is carefully selected to meet our standards for craftsmanship, fit, and finish.
What type of lenses do you use?
We use premium CR-39 lenses in all of our eyewear. CR-39 is a favorite within the premium eyewear industry because it offers exceptional clarity, a lightweight feel, and a more natural viewing experience than many other lens materials. Simply put, we believe great eyewear should look good and feel good. That's why we chose CR-39. Every lens also provides 100% UVA/UVB protection and features a scratch-resistant coating for everyday wear.
Do your sunglasses provide UV protection?
Yes. All Past Midnight sunglasses provide 100% UVA/UVB protection to help shield your eyes from harmful ultraviolet rays. We believe great eyewear should never compromise on protection, which is why UV protection is standard across our entire collection.
Are your lenses polarized?
At this time, our lenses are not polarized. We chose premium CR-39 lenses for their exceptional optical clarity, color accuracy, and overall viewing experience. All Past Midnight sunglasses provide 100% UVA/UVB protection and feature a scratch-resistant coating for everyday wear.
Are your lenses scratch-resistant?
Yes. All Past Midnight lenses feature a scratch-resistant coating to help protect against everyday wear and tear. While no lens is completely scratch-proof, proper care and storage can help keep your eyewear looking its best for years to come.
Does Past Midnight offer prescription eyewear?
While we currently specialize in premium sunglasses and blue light eyewear, all Past Midnight frames can be fitted with prescription lenses by your local optician. Stay tuned as we continue to expand the world of Past Midnight.
Can I replace the lenses in my Past Midnight frames?
All of our frames are RX-ready and can be fitted with replacement or prescription lenses by a qualified optician.

Orders & Shipping

When will my order ship?
In-stock orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days, although we strive for next-day shipping. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please note that processing times may be slightly longer during product launches, holidays, and other high-volume periods. If you need your order by a certain date and are unsure if it will arrive in time, please email us at orders@pastmidnightlabel.com.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer complimentary shipping on all U.S. orders over $250. For orders below this threshold, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and delivery method. We partner with trusted carriers to ensure every order arrives safely and securely.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes. We ship FedEx Express DDP to select international destinations. Please note that international orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees, which are the responsibility of the customer, and will be calculated at checkout.
Do I have to pay customs duties and taxes on international orders?

How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information. You can use the tracking link provided to follow your package's journey and view the latest delivery updates.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We begin processing orders quickly, so changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed. If you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact us at orders@pastmidnightlabel.com as soon as possible and our team will do our best to assist.
My order shows as delivered, but I can't locate it. What should I do?
If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend checking around your property, with neighbors, or with your building's front desk or mail room, as carriers may occasionally leave packages in a secure location. In some cases, packages marked as delivered may arrive within the next 1–2 business days, so we recommend allowing a short grace period before reporting the package as missing. If you are still unable to locate your package after 48 hours, please contact us at orders@pastmidnightlabel.com with your order number. While we cannot guarantee the outcome of carrier investigations, our team will do our best to assist in locating your package.

Pre-Orders

What is a pre-order?
A pre-order allows you to reserve an item before it is available for immediate shipment. By placing a pre-order, you secure your pair before inventory arrives and ensure you don't miss out on limited quantities.

Estimated shipping timelines can be found on each product page. While we do our best to meet these dates, they are estimates and not guaranteed ship dates. Production, shipping, customs clearance, and quality control processes can occasionally result in delays. If your order has not yet shipped, it is still being processed and remains in our production queue. We appreciate your patience as we work to deliver your order as quickly as possible.
Why was my pre-order delayed?
At Past Midnight, quality always comes first. Every frame takes approximately 3–4 months to produce, from material sourcing and manufacturing to quality control and fulfillment. While we work hard to meet our estimated timelines, production, shipping, customs clearance, and quality control processes can occasionally result in delays. We would rather take the time to ensure your eyewear meets our standards than rush a product that isn't ready. If your order has not yet shipped, it is still being processed and remains in our production queue.
How will I know if my pre-order is delayed?
We do our best to provide updates whenever possible. However, because pre-order timelines are estimates and production schedules can shift, we may not always be able to notify customers of every delay. Can I cancel or modify my pre-order?

Will I be charged immediately for a pre-order?
Yes. Full payment is collected at the time your pre-order is placed to reserve your pair. Because our production runs are intentionally limited and quantities are often very small, pre-payment allows us to allocate inventory specifically to your order.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?
We accept returns on eligible U.S. orders within 10 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition, including all packaging, and show no signs of wear or damage. Please note that gift cards and final sale items are not eligible for return. At this time, all international sales are final and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Do you offer exchanges?
Yes. We offer exchanges on eligible U.S. orders within 14 days of delivery, subject to product availability. Items must be returned in their original condition, including all packaging, and show no signs of wear or damage. To request an exchange, please contact us at orders@pastmidnightlabel.com and our team will be happy to assist. At this time, international orders are not eligible for exchange.
What items are Final Sale?
All items marked as Final Sale, gift cards, and select promotional items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund. Any final sale designation will be clearly noted on the product page prior to purchase.
Do you charge return fees?
We offer complimentary returns on your first order within our eligible return window. For subsequent returns, return shipping and processing fees may apply. Please note that returned items must be received in their original condition. Items that show signs of wear, damage, or are returned without original packaging may be subject to a restocking fee or may not be eligible for a refund.
How do I start a return?
To initiate a return, please visit our Returns Portal at pastmidnight.loopreturns.com and follow the instructions provided. Once your return request is approved, you'll receive detailed instructions on how to send your item back to us. If you have any questions, please contact our team and we'll be happy to assist.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return has been delivered to our facility, please allow up to 10 business days (Monday–Friday) for our team to inspect and process your return. Once approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method. After your refund has been processed, it may take an additional 5 or more business days for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund to your account. Processing times vary by financial institution and are outside of our control. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
Can I return a gift?
Yes. Eligible gifts may be returned within 10 days of delivery, provided they are returned in their original condition, including all packaging, and show no signs of wear or damage. To begin a gift return, please visit our Returns Portal. A valid order number must be provided so we can locate the purchase and process your return.

Care & Warranty

How should I care for my eyewear?
To keep your eyewear looking its best, we recommend storing your frames in their protective case when not in use and cleaning your lenses with the included microfiber cloth. Avoid placing your frames lens-side down and keep them away from excessive heat, harsh chemicals, and abrasive surfaces. Please note that prolonged exposure to heat can cause both acetate and metal frames to warp, stretch, or lose their original shape. We recommend avoiding storing your eyewear in hot cars or other high-temperature environments whenever possible. Over time, normal wear may also cause the plating and finish on metal components to naturally age. This is a normal characteristic of metal eyewear and is not considered a manufacturing defect. With proper care, your Past Midnight eyewear is designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
Do you offer a warranty?
At this time, we do not offer a warranty. Because eyewear is subject to individual wear, handling, storage conditions, and daily use, we are unable to guarantee products beyond their delivery. That said, if you believe your item arrived with a manufacturing defect or issue, please contact us within 10 days of delivery at orders@pastmidnightlabel.com and our team will review your request.
What should I do if my sunglasses arrive damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or you believe there is a manufacturing defect, please contact us at orders@pastmidnightlabel.com within 10 days of delivery. Be sure to include your order number and clear photos of the damage so our team can review your request and assist you as quickly as possible.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and other payment methods available at checkout.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are securely processed using industry-standard encryption and payment security protocols. Past Midnight does not store your full payment information, helping ensure your personal and financial details remain protected.
Do you offer installment payments?
Yes. Eligible customers can choose to pay over time using Shop Pay Installments, Afterpay, and PayPal Pay Later at checkout.
When will I be charged for my order?
